Two Helpful Ideas
« on: May 30, 2013, 05:47:24 PM »

#1: Smelting. I saw this on a previous server I played, and it seemed like a helpful tool. What it did was any tool that took 3 ores (like a pickaxe), you would type in /smelt (on here maybe a sign?) and it would give you 1 of the ore back, no matter what stage of health it was in. Armours gave back 3 of the ores (boots gave 2). This could mainly be helpful for when mobs drop near-broken tools, so we can get something out of them. I wouldn't mind if you guys said no to this, but its just a thought.

#2: Too Expensive!. This is a biggy, and one of the only things I want to change on the server. Its the "Too Expensive" pop-up on anvils. I know it is a lot to ask you guys to add a plugin and such, but if you guys can find something to increase the "too expensive" marker, or to tweak it, I would love you forever. I love enchanting books then adding it to tools, but its really annoying that once you add about 3 books, you cant add the final fourth enchantment, or you cant name the tool. Even if it means spending 50 exp (caps 40 atm), it would be worth it to create a maxed out vanilla tool, as very rarely, you can get 4 enchants from the enchantment table, except I cant with an anvil  :(

Scratch the second idea. I haven't tried 4 enchantments since about 1.4.7, and it appears that they tweaked it already at some point. You can fully max out an item, but you just cant repair it once it is, but the signs fix that! :D

So far I haven't found one.

I cant really help on ideas. The person who had the mod made it himself. If you have some coding knowledge you could maybe make a command? I don't think it should be too difficult.

If I can help in any way with that long list of ideas I will. Hey also does a sand quarry have to be in the desert or can I get one next to my current quarry?
